Autodrive is investing $850 000 to launch electric scooter services in Armenia. As part of the investment program, it is planned to launch electric scooter program in Yerevan, Gyumri, and Vanadzor to support and modernize public transport. The goal of the company is to unload the mentioned cities and reduce traffic jams, to promote the development of tourism. Moreover, it is aimed to provide residents of Yerevan, Gyumri, Vanadzor and tourists with fast, environmentally friendly and safe transport.

Within the framework of the program, it is planned to invest 407 million drams to purchase electric scooters and spare parts for them. In addition, within the framework of the program, 12 jobs will be created, and the average salary will be 170 thousand drams. The company is going to import electric scooters worth 374 million drams and is exempt from paying customs duties in the amount of 42.6 million drams.
According to the RA Statistical Committee, the service sector in Armenia over the past 15 years (excluding the years of crisis) has grown by an average of 15% per year. In January-February 2022, the volume of services amounted to 316,297.7 million drams (in current prices), increasing by 20.1% compared to the same period in 2021.
